Carbon Grey TSX with 17x8 Kosei K1 TS Gunmetal and 235/45/17
Here are the details:
Kosei K1 TS 17x8 +45mm offset (15.4lbs)
Fuzion zri 235/45/17
My stock combo after 28k miles weighed in at 52lbs....
The new combo was 48lbs....
Savings of 4lbs off each corner with new tires. I'm estimating after 28k miles on these tires, they will weigh more like 46lbs which would mean a weight saving of closer to 6lbs per corner. That's 24lbs off my car just with just wheels and tires!!!!
Do I notice a difference? Hell yeah!
Wider performance tires have a lot more grip than all seasons. But the best thing I noticed after putting on the lighter combo was the light steering feel. I can turn much quicker because my steering wheel has 8lbs less to turn. Overall, my car feels like it got more nimble. Saving rotational mass is aweeeeeeeesooooooomeeee!
Sidenote,
I have 28k miles on my car and for the 1st time, I heard weird scrapping noises coming from the front of my car. It happened as I was slowly going straight. Can't be the brakes or the rims. I have no idea but wondering if anyone else heard weird metallic scraping noises from their car. Thanx.

cant be tires cause it's metallic scrapping.... can't be wheels because I didn't hear it until a week after I installed these. After I installed, I also drove around making u turns and fast turns to make sure the wheels dont rub....

I think the flat spokes on the OEM wheel that go right to the edge of the wheel (i.e. no lip) make the wheel look bigger than it really is. Because this weel has a little lip, it has the illusion of being smaller than stock. Offset has nothing to do with it.

I threw my stock wheel/tire on a scale and it only weighed 47lbs, and that was with 1k miles on it.
A friend of mine has the K1 Racing which is heavier than your rim, with Toyo T1s. That combo tips the scale at 38lbs. Granted, most tires weigh more than the Toyos, but not that much more........
