Can you stand another "help me choose a tire" thread?

I've got BS G019 Grids on my '07 TSX 6MT right now. They're noisy as hell and I can't wait to get rid of them, but the tread life was exceptional (50K warranty and I got 73K out of them). I also really liked their relatively aggressive look.

After hours of mind-numbing research, I'm down to the BS Serenities, BS Pole Position A/S or the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.

In terms of driving, most of my miles are highway, doing 75-80mph. I do love a twisty back road, though. I rarely drive in more than an inch of snow. Performance edges out quietness/ride quality and honestly, I want a tire that looks good on the car.

Thoughts on the 3 options? Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You're kind of comparing apples to oranges with the two Bridegestone tires. The Pole Position is an ultra high performance all season tire (code for and/or in reality, a summer tire), and the Serenity is a grand touring tire (not really a high performance tire). I won't comment on the Michelin because in my opinion they're overpriced. There are not a ton of tires available in the TSX OE size, and based on your driving needs, I'd say go with the Serenity, or the Continental PureContact, which scored slightly higher in the TireRack survey results, and is $12 a piece cheaper.

Tirerack loves the Michelin - says its dry weather performance is nearly as good as the Super Sport so it's serious stuff for an all season.

Why not the Continental DWS?

The key to what the OP is looking for (in my opinion) is the statement "most of my miles are highway". This kind of makes the Michelin claim irrelevant (I'd be more interested in it's competence in the rain), and the Conti DWS is an ultra high performance all season tire, so again, I'd question it being appropriate for mostly highway miles.

Highway miles or not, OP says they enjoy a twisty back road and value performance over a quiet ride. That sounds a high performance tire to me. Besides, the DWS has a nice ride and pretty low noise.
