buying new tires soon? which to choose?

I'm looking to replace my tires soon (I can't wait). I'm looking for tires with great handling and I will be needing to drive in the snow. I was looking at yokohama, pirelli and kumho? any other suggestions or models of the ones I picked? I'm guessing I need to spend a little over $100 to get some good tires.

thanks!

I got the Pirelli P7000 Super Sport...they're "Ultra High Performance All-Season" tires
They are $117 on TireRack.com

So far I like them

If I only had one set of rims and needed all season tires I would probably go with Bridgestone Turanza LS-V. Check out www.tirerack.com for tire comparisons. Keep in mind though, all season tires don't come close to a set of real winter tires.

I am a strong supporter of Falken Ziex 512s. It was rated the best in a consumer report for its great price, tread life and functionality as an all season tire. I have them on my Integra and on my 18s. My bro has them on his WRX and he also loves them. Works great in snow!

The Toyo Proxes 4 would be my next choice since they're slightly more expensive and they're tread rate is lower.

www.edgeracing.com gives some good comparisons as well as being nicely priced.

You cant beat Falkens for the price and value. I had the Ziex 512 on my old Mazda6 and they gripped damm good.

You might want to include the Avon Tech M550 A/S on your short list.

Avon M550 is a great tire. Either that or the yoko avid V4's. You can't go wrong with either. I stuck with the yoko's myself. Here's a review i posted.
