Buddy Club N+ Spec

Anyone have these? If so, post up a reveiw. They look similiar to the Tein Flex in that they have ride height adjustability separate from the spring pre-load. Another bonus is the BC uses a urethane ring between the upper spring and upper mount; good for us old-folk who are uber sensitive to noises.

cmf actually sold his Racing Spec to kaikai, so if you want a review, check with Kaikai114

I'm thinking about getting these as well for a performance point of view. Fury, let me know how these new coilovers compare vs. the Tanabes when you get these installed.

I did... I love the Tanabe's for ride quality, but I needed a little more bling and performance

But I will def miss the ride quality of the Tanabes.

Umm.... isn't Stoli asking about the Buddy Club N+ and not the Buddy Club Racing Spec ?

Also, TSX.Fury, do you have the N+ or the Racing Spec Damper kit?

From glancing at their website, looks like:

P-1 Racing Spec = Full Track
Racing Spec = Street with Track emphasis
N+1 = Street with mild track emphasis

I will definitely paste their reply to keep you guys posted.

from the text I would agree with you... but the specs are basically the same...

12k/6k, 15-way adjustable, height adjustment independant of spring rate... etc

can't wait to hear

I have the N+ for my ride. i couldn't get my hands on the racing spec ones. So had to settle to for these. Not bad in my opinion spring rates are kinda wack:

12K front | 6K rear

I left them that way for now with dampner settings at: 6 front | full stiff rear

I have no problems right now with them. I will wait till the comptech rear sway bar before making a final decision.

One down fall: not pillow ball top hats
Ride comfort is nice, not a stiff ride as racing spec's

fury.. you have to clean up your mailbox.. haha

clockwise is stiffer

oh, reminder. The height adjusters, don't leave them at the factory setting or your car will be stuck on the hoist like mine was.. haha

after adjusting:
fronts: Left 12 | Right 12
rears: Left 15 | Right 10

oops forgot to answer horro about the difference(s)

Racing Spec have thick Shock piston shafts, allow for custom valving for different spring rates, more dampning adjustment levels, and come with stiffer spring rates sotck.

One more thing. pillow ball upper mounts are an option for the racing specs, but N+ comes with urathane upper aluminum mounts(not pillow ball)

You sure about that? because the Buddy Club website seems to disagree... both have 15 adjustment settings and the same spring rates...

I'd be scared to buy Racing Spec at 10k front if the N+ has 12k fronts. Buddyclub needs to get off their asses and reply my email !

So far the only difference we have identified is a smaller piston size (although even that is unconfirmed) and I can't imagine that's worth the $500 MSRP difference
