Lightbulb BF Goodwrench G-Force vs. Bridestone Potenza 019 Grids?

I was planning on getting the Grids. I called my tire guy and he didn't have them in stock but said the G-Forces were comparable and very good. I've never owned either one personall and don't know anybody that does. I was hoping my fellow TSXers could shed soem light on these tires for me. Tire rack doesn't have any ratings for the G-force's....which is why I'm asking you guys!! Thanks a ton for the help!

Did you notice any differences (ride, noise, mpg, etc..) compared to the OEM tires?

well mpg was almost the same, i step on the car always..
compared to oem well off course they perform better, thicker side walls so they will take more abuse..
Overall really good, not cheap

Any opinions on getting the BF Goodrich in 225/45R17 or the 215/50R17?

Are we talking about G-force sport summer times for G-force sport AS tires?

I have the AS versions on my TSX right now, and I like them quite a bit. Both sets of tires have very stiff sidewalls, so you don't get the squishy steering response some people complain about when it comes to all seasons. I have the summer versions on my old prelude, and I liked them as well.

Both tires have great wet traction, great dry traction, and great steering/braking. However, they both get loud pretty quickly - that is really the only downside. If you can live with the noise, they are great tires.

And who said they weren't cheap? They are outrageously cheap. Stock Michelins go for around 200 a piece of tirerack? I think I paid 80 a tire.

I have them in 225/45. Your speedometer will be slightly off about 60 mph, by 80 your speedo will be about 3 mph faster. Your gas mileage will decrease by 3.75 percent. It does increase steering response and traction though, and decrease ride quality.
