Best coilovers

I know much of this is subjective, but I am looking for opinions on coilovers. The characteristics that I would like are as follows:
1. high quality
2. Good ride quality
3. Ability for only a moderate drop of 1 to 1 1/4 inches
4. Money is not my primary concern, but obviously I don't need a Le Mans spec $5000.00 set up.
5. a reputable source is a must.
Thanks for your input.

There are so many different types of coilovers out there now, it's unbelievable. I think mainly it's up to a company you trust the product of.
For me, I have buddy clubs, love em, so I say buddy club!
15 way adjustable for dampening, and I think it's either a 3.5 or 4 inch drop max.

I have had nothing but great experience with TEIN.

Plus you can't beat the optional EDFC

Do you guys know what the Minimum drop is with the Buddy Club and Tein? I want more control, but I don't want a harsh ride.

Don't know what it stands for, but what it does is allows you to adjust the dampening without having to go under the hood and seats to turn the dials

In regards to what is the minimum drop, I would assume stock, maybe .5 inch.

There is a vendor on the site selling em for way less than that. Do a search for buddy club, you should find it.

Is there a coilover suspension where you can raise or lower the ride height electronically from inside the drivers seat?

No. What you're describing is the "airbag" system.

Yes there is actually. Tanabe have "air cobra's". they are for vans though like the Honda Odyssey. They are a full coilover with an airbag at the top. Very cool.
