Not needed because they don't want to R&D one, not needed b/c our cars will never make the power levels/reach speeds to necessitate massive rear brakes, not needed b/c there's next-to-no market for it, or not needed b/c more of their competitors aren't producing them?

Sorry, I had to unload some smarta$$ on ya in return for the JDM Jedi comment

I'll add my .02 here...both kits are beautiful, both are rare (P.Mu is probably a bit more rare, IMO), and both are pricey. If it were me, I'd get the black P.Mu. Less bling, more sleeper, but that's just my preference. In the end, though, I can't see spending a fourth of the price of my entire car on front brakes...all to gain 2 ft. of stopping power over a Stoptech or similar kit. But, to each his own.

I understand what you are saying about the whole price for stopping 2 feet sooner.

But like dbskill said, its just about having good parts on your car. I wouldnt buy a cheaper kit just to save some money, and risk something t happen. I like quality parts, and sometimes quality parts cost more than the average part, and thats the case with the brakes. Sorry if it remotely sounds like Im mad (its the morning) because Im not, im just showing you where im coming from

While I absolutely agree that having better quality parts gives you piece of mind, I don't think that the JDM BBKs (Endless, J's, P. Mu, T1R) are necessarily better than Stoptech's BBK.

Don't get me wrong...the rarity and "bling" factor of the JDM BBKs over Stoptech cannot be ignored, and since that's what you're going for, I think it's 100% justified. However, from a quality and performance perspective, the difference (if any) is negligble at best.

I agree with you as well. I am sure that Stoptech is of the same quality as the Endless or PMU kits. I was aware that all BBKs do the exact same thing, and the only differenece your paying for is the name and color.

I went with Endless because I like JDM and I plan on eventually showing my car, so I wanted something that had the bling factor.

so you guys are saying that a 4pot caliper and a 6pot caliper are the same?
and that Stoptech is of equal quality to Endless?

I guess I just don't agree.

maybe the difference isn't huge, but neither is the price difference.

I see no reason for trying to knock anyone for wanting to buy the best.

the worst part is always waiting for the items to ship.

we research various modification options all hours of the night, work tirelessly to be able to afford them, dream about them installed on our respective rides ... all that just to be delayed in freight

Seriously, waiting is the worst part. Just like you said, so much effort, and its put on stop for the waiting time.

Its alright though, all of my parts have come from Japan, so I am getting used to waiting (unfortunately)

"Patience is a virtue that the majority of fast car owners don't have. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be buying fast and flashy cars to begin with, and we wouldn’t be bitching about how long it takes for a mod to get to us."

the waiting absolutely kills me.
worst part.
I'm so not patient at all, and every extra day gets to me
a little bit more. I can't stand it.

Pics please!

I wanted black, but didn't want to pay extra for it or wait, so I've got red (which I love, but now I'm dying to see black on a TSX).
