Air Runner Suspension

Hey everyone,

I was asking anyone who own it (tsxdriver and all the other sick as hawaiian TSX's) how they are. How is the ride comfort? Tolerable for daily driving? Any body roll? How high up could you go? Does comfort vary on what ride height you decide to roll on?

I was just curious because I have never heard any of those questions answered before.

i really wanted air-runners in the beginning, but i found out that your alignment gets changed every time you "adjust" the height of your car (as do all air-ride systems). I dont think that is a good for daily driving.

Wow, I did not know that. As far as "changed" how bad is it? I only plan on keeping this car a daily driver for maybe one more year

well as you raise and lower your car, your camber will increase, and decrease. also, your tire will wear differently depending on the height you are at, etc.

Oh Ok, thats what i figured. I knew the camber changed each time, and tire wear becomes uneven. When you said Alignment, I thought you meant the steering wheels would be sideways when I was going straight

i found this on a website from google search:

“Will I need to get a steering alignment after installing air ride?”

Any time that your suspension is altered, modified, or even just taken apart and reassembled, it will be mandatory to take your ride to an alignment shop to have the alignment checked and or fixed. When aligning your air equipped ride, make sure that it is at your most frequently used ride height since the alignment will change at different heights. Ride height is the height that you will most frequently be driving at.

doesnt sound like a real "firm" answer.
