Advan Model F7 wheels
So I am just now starting to change some things on my 05 tsx. Now i want some new rims. I have come to my decision. the Advan Model F7 wheels are beautiful, sporty, and classy. http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...4544_5812.html
I wanna see them on the car before I buy them though. Its a black tsx. It's got about a little over an inch drop.
I also am not sure what size i want. I know oem wheels for acura are 17'. anyone think 19' will be to big. I am going with a much fatter wheel at about 8.5'. give me some input please...

I would g 18x8.
why:
this rim is an open, full faced rim.
meaning few spokes, open design, one piece forged,
and there is not lip.
19 will look too big in my opinion,
and it will hamper your handling.
likewise you don't want such a wide rim either.
8 inches wide is a good width to go up to, OEM is only 7.
I suggest if you get these rims, to upgrade your brakes.
like I said above, they are very open, exposing your brakes
very clearly for all to look at. Nice rims over crappy brakes
don't set the tone those rims deserve.
and vivid prices them too high, other places can do better.

The TL runs 8 inch wide tires.
Vivid doesn't really give any good pics of the F7 to use in a photoshop.
Best I could do is make it look like 19's or 20's on a NHP:
I suck at photoshopping, sorry.

Hey man, Im the one with the T7's.
Your right, the difference between my rims and the new F7 is that the F7 is forged. I saw these about 2 weeks after I had ordered mine, it sucked because I wanted to get the F7's, but I couldn't cancel my order because I special ordered mine.
Like MMs said earlier, 18x8 is your best bet. you get a bigger rim and wider rim, and you dont have to sacrifice any weight because the Advans are lightweight.
And again, just like MMs said, Vivid Racing doesnt have the best prices. I ordered from there, and they took forever and charged me a grip. I would say contact Marcus at Heeltoe about these, and he might be able to get them for you

I looked at the pics of your t7's. beautiful. They look great. Still look small for me though. It may just be cause its a pic and not real life cause you did say they look big. I will see if he can hook me up a deal. btw nice tsx. hope mine is looking that good by the end of the year!!!

In pictures the rims look a little small, but with the drop I have, they look bigger than 18. A lot of people have asked me if they are 19's, because they have no lip.
Definitely ask Marcus though He has pretty much gotten me prtty much every part on my car except the rims.
I am sure your car will look good, it just takes time. time to order parts, wait for them, and install them. I am not a very patient person usually, but this car has taught me to be a little more patient Check around for another thread by me sometime this upcoming week/weekend. My car will look different after Saturday
