235/40-18. You should be fine with that size. You should go to www.tirerack.com. They will be able to help you out alot better.

That offset is quite low for the TSX. With an 8.5 inch wheel you may have rubbing issues on the inside of the tire at stock height. I don't know for sure though.

nah.
at stock height there will be no rubbing.
however the tires will probably either be flush with the outside fenders
or they might even stick out just a tad.
but with that huge stock wheel gap, it doesn't matter.

they will fit.

it will look bad in my opinion though.
aftermarket rims on stock suspension is not the best look.

i just bolted 18x8.5 +55 offset on to my tsx yesterday, they sit close to flush, I am going to run a 3mm spacer, but i think +35 will be too much offset.

I do not have any rubbing issues. My car is lowered on sportlines

I ran a 225 tire, it is a little stretched but i was worried about it clearing the suspension

Stock ride height with 18x8.5 +35 wheels will look like a Subaru Outback. Picture for reference. Abort mission, repeat, abort mission. Coilovers, stat.
