225/35/19 or 235/35/19
which size for 19x8 +40 offset? i have a comptech 110-155 drop, so about 1-1.2 inch drop. will a 235 look bulky? dont think im low enough to rub with a 235. a 225 wont look very stretched will it? i know the sidewall diff on the 2 sizes is minimal, just didnt know if a 225 would be stretched alot. Thanks

235 is a more exact match to the OEM specs. Your offset is a little low, but you probably won't rub b/c you're on 110-155 Comptechs (did you pair them w/ Koni's?), but they may stick out a tad from your fender. IMO, they won't look meaty at all. 225 is still well within tolerance levels for plus sizing, but you're practically on rubber bands. I personally would go with the 235s. I guess if you live in an area w/ decent roads, it's not a big issue... but by me, my wheels and tires would be toast before I got to work (15 miles away).

the tire calculator says the sidewall diff is only .1 inches, however i thought with the 225 stretching on a 8inch wide rim, it would be even less sidewall. the comptech is actually more drop than i expected(happily). 235 sounds like a safer bet, shouldnt rub, help prevent wheel gap. i have a nbp tsx and im having a hard time finding rims. i like a lil flash to my wheels, but not full chrome, poss chrome lip...any suggestions?

Hmmm... that's a tough one if you're looking for 19s. What's the budget? I know you could certainly find some Volks or Works w/ a lip, but it'll cost some nice coin...
