are 20" rims too big?
Jut wanted to know whether or not 20" rims were entirely too big for my car (Acura TSX '06)....the rims are Giovanna Dalars...... look real nice on the stand, too..... of course the shop says they can put 'em on there, but Im worried about how much will I be sacrificing in terms of performance, well scraping, gas mileage, etc..... been told before not to go above 18", so I just wanted some honest feedback.....thanks.

Honest feedback okay…Why the hell would you put 20” chrome rims on the TSX? Going for the dub edition look? 20” rims are not only going to sacrifice your fuel economy drastically but weigh your car down, it’s a 4Cylinder car not the quickest to begin with, then you want to put 20”s on it. Not to mention you’re going to be putting a lot of stress on those factory shocks + your rides going to be very bumpy (watch out for those pot holes).

i hate anything bigger than 19's but 2 of my buddys with altimas both put 20's on their ride and it looks pretty clean. i thought it would have raised the ride height and that they would have horrible wheel gap but it looks pretty good. only about 1.5 finger gap, im wondering if 20s would do the same for the tsx now. but yeah i hate chrome. keep that shit on suvs and trucks and shit

I've got 18" chromies on, basically the same weight as stock wheels, always looked plenty big to me and they aren't too bad on potholes. Also, I definitely don't notice a performance drop when I switch between summer and winter wheels. I'd say definitely stay away fro the 20s, go for some nice 18s, and if you want chrome don't let anybody talk you out of it.

i personally like the dalars
if you want 20s, id say get em
your fuel economy will be affected, performance also, but IMO the TSX was never a sports car
u will need some low profile tires so be ready to change them every 20-30k miles
you will also need to start braking sooner with the rims
where do you live?
if in a pothole filled area i.e. NY/NJ, i wouldnt recommend anything over 18s
