18" or 19" ?

I cant decide if i want to get 18" or 19" rims for my black tsx.... i was wondering if it would look funny if i got 19"s withought lowering my car....with the car really high off the ground.....but if i get 18" its only 1 inch different than the stock rims......cant decide...can you guys share your thoughts?

18" or 19", it will not affect the height of your ride. Basically, the bigger rims you go with, your tires will look thinner around the rims, keeping the original overall diameter of the wheel. If you get 18's, you might not need to lower it, but 19s, I'd definitely lower to get a clean look.

Get some hub rings for those wheels because they have a 73.1mm centerbore.

http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.asp?id2=hubring

Hub centric rings are manufactured so that when they are installed on a vehicle, the wheels are located directly off of the centre flange of the brake drum or rotor. This is done to insure that the outer beads of the wheel are concentric with the wheel bearings. The result is a much truer, better balanced tire/wheel assembly. This is very important with modern high tech suspension systems.
The wheels you like have a bigger center hole drilled in them than is required by your hub (73.1mm on the wheel and 64.1mm on the hub). These hub rings fill that space to ensure your wheel is properly aligned on the hub.

219 each for a chrome 18 inch wheel will probably crack after the first big bump you hit. Chrome wheels aren't cheap, especially 18's.

its gonna look funny if you dont lower it no matter what rim size you have.

and even tho "in theory" your car is supposed to be the same height with bigger tires/smaller wheels (b/c you're supposed to maintain the overall diameter), you wont.

your car will be higher and it will look even funnier than stock. trust me.

Mr. I-Couldn't-Fit-A-Trout-Under-My-Car-Because-It's-So-Low,

The diameter doesn't change, the bigger wheels just give the illusion that your car is higher. :troutslap

it would most likely be a low offset for 8.5" wheel, since wheels that wide are made for RWD, bmw, 240, supra

Never heard of em. Never heard of any of the wheels you've mentioned thus far for that matter.
