SPEED WC at Laguna Seca--**SPOILER: Results Inside***
Last round of this season's SPEED WC race will be at Laguna Seca next weekend (10/16-10/17). I'm just wondering if anyone (in Calif.) is planning on going. I purchased my ticket already, so I will be there...along with some my wife and some friends.

So here's the latest from the SCCA World Challenge. Matt Plumb didn't run. Instead, Dobson was in his car. He did fairly well, coming in at 7th. Kleinubing was in the lead for a good portion of the race, but screwed up on the last turn before the start with about 4 or 5 laps left and ended up in 4th.
Overall this was a good season for Realtime Racing. The new TSX faired extremely well for a first year car and had a number of race wins.
I'm looking forward to the next season when the TSX has had more development time.

What's the size of the engines on the Mazda 6?
Does anyone know a good site where they have performance specs for these cars? I've surfed a lot on the team sites but all I found was some very general specs, no hp estimates or anything. On the Mazda site I didn't even find anything except pictures and driver profiles.

From talking to some of the techs in the paddock, I heard that there will be more than just 2 TSX's competing next year.

The pictures are super nice!
Thanks!
Did TSX win the race?
Was Matt Plumb driving the TSX, RSX, or the integra?
(Sorry, I didn't purchase the speed channel.)
Does the LagunaSeca open to the public?
Can we have a lap there at an affordable price?
Thanks!

I found this.
Ps, Driver, Car, Pts (Wins)
1, Bill Auberlen, BMW 325i, 251 (3)
2, Nic Jonsson, BMW 325Ci, 234 (1)
3, Matt Plumb, Acura TSX, 214 (2)
4, James Sofronas, BMW 325Ci, 196
5, Peter Cunningham, Sentra SE-R, 188 (1)
6, Justin Marks, BMW 325i, 187
7, Pierre Kleinubing, Acura TSX, 174 (2)
8, Jeff Altenburg, Mazda 6, 156 (1)
9, Bob Stretch, BMW 325Ci, 143
10, Dino Crescentini(R), BMW 325i, 130
Altenburg records with a lap time of 1:39.446 (81.016 mph)
Fastest qualifier: #42 Pierre Kleinubing, 1:38.261 (81.993 mph)
I am a rookie of talking about these touring car races. But I really want to know more about the drivers, the car specs and the lap times.

I think the GT lap times were in the low 1:30s range.
Here, you can see the results from Laguna Seca, http://www.world-challenge.com/2004/...t-results.html.
