Raced an 04 civic si and audi TT
I was cruising in freeway and met this crazy audi TT driver. He was weaving though the cars like there was no tomorrow. Since police was right in front of me, he hid behind me until the police exited the freeway. and this guy start to go crazy so why not test out my car, i followed him and in open traffic we gunned it. I believe we were going at around 70? we had to shut it down soon (around 95mph) cause we had to exit. I thought I was going to lose but i pulled very slowly, about half car length ahead at the end. It wasn't really a race but I was happy with my car. I think TT was stock with 1.8T engine.
and i met up with my friend that night. he had a passenger and so did i. we both gunned it from the stop three times, i lost all three times... i forgot to turn off VSC but i dont think it would've made the story different. first two times, i just gunned it, giving it full gas. I lost by a car length when we shut it down at 60(he was pulling slowly btw). third time, i rev it up to 2.5k rpm holding the brake and let it go.. it didn't make any difference so i lost all three times. his si is stock too. It didn't surprise me that i lost but damn! i shoulda got manual...

Yeah Traffic Racing is dangerous... a few things u did wrong against the SI... First off, your not gonna beat an SI no matter what stock for stock unless the other guy cant drive, MT tranny over AT esp, its half the size w/ = Horsepower...
2ndly Sport Shift is a lot Faster then Fully Automatic mode next time ur driving test for urself, youll see its much faster as long as u know how to shift right,
Also TT is a fast car, so good job keeping up w/ him....have fun but dont over step the boundrys of the car.... and cause u sound new, and some people are gonna disagree w/ me here... But you sound like u drive like I do... So Lose the Stock Michiliens put some nice tires on there... I highly Recomend Toyo Proxies

i see.. i'm not into racing so i aint going to mod my car out in performance wise. and.. it was safe race lol. speed limit was 50 and we only race til 60 from the stop. car and driver tested TT and got 15.8 in quarter mile so i think tsx can hold up with TT pretty good.
