Ask any racer, any real racer, it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winnings winning.

Fawkin 2F2F.

My point was, we're not comparing an Enzo to a K car here. We're comparing the same car with a different tranny. I'm the first to admit that the 6Sp suits the TSX far better than the auto and if you plan to track the car the 6Sp is your only option. But they're both fairly slow cars.

Besides, my tranny had no problem taking a 90 deg turn at 53MPH

oh i completely agree, and anyone who bought this car thinking they were going to "smoke" people off the line is going to be sadly mistaken. its not about the off the line speed, its about the fun making those 90 deg turns at 53 mph

i am one to play with people off the line, but its not funny when a (hopefully modded up) F250 kills you.

I had a chance to race a new 2005 Schwinn 18 speed. Let me tell you, my TSX leaped off the line and he was eating my dust. But then traffic begain to bottleneck up and the next thing I knew...I was looking at the rear reflector of that bike. Guess just about anything will beat my TSX given right conditions. Oh and before you guys start in with the "well what do you expect you have a 5AT" crap...there was a TSX 6sp with Navi that was also left behind by this same Schwinn. The only downside to the Schwinn is that Milk is now $3.79 a gallon....so I guess I will have the last laugh at the pump.

This sort of happened to me.

The second month or so I had the TSX, a Ford pickup and I were at the same light. The guy looked at me and revved his engine. I thought that was odd—nobody EVER did that to me in my old Civic DX.

It hit me after a second…he actually wanted to race. I was…flattered. And I figured, hell, it's a big heavy truck so what the hell.

In all the excitement, I was way too tender with the launch and he got out ahead pretty quick. He pretty much stayed there. Only at the next light did I see he had some gauge (turbo? supercharger?) mounted on his A-pillar. Should have known better.

I was so psyched someone wanting to race me I didn't care about losing. I was laughing and howling the whole time. Then I gave 'em the biggest, goofiest thumbs-up (my specialty) as I passed to get on the highway.
