How do you find out about track days?

How do you guys find out about local track days? I'm in Tampa, FL and I'd love to go to something like this but I don't know how to find them.

Try it. Or try locating your local SCCA region here, http://www.scca.org. Then go to your local region's website to ask about track days. Most likely the region may not have any track days, but the people running auto-x'es in that region may know where to look. Good luck.

If you're in South Calif., I can easily direct you to several websites.

Besides the SCCA (in the N.E., SCCA seems to just now be getting into track days as opposed to actual racing) there are other groups who do track days, like NASA ...here's a link to the Florida group of NASA http://www.drivenasafl.com/

Also check out specific car owner groups in your area, like the local Porsche Club, Viper Club, Audi Club, BMW Club, etc. Those groups organize track days and most often will let any other cars also participate since they don't usually sell out.

Trackquest also runs track days, but Road Atlanta might be the closest to you so far unless they do something at Sebring, Daytona or someplace else in FL http://www.tracquest.com/

There are others too that I'm missing right now, but you get the idea.
