Acceleration/Top Speed?

145? Are you sure. I thought it was 135 or something like that.
The best 0-60 and 1/4 time reported have been car and driver who ran a 7.2/15.4 i believe.
In my opinion this car isnt that fast off the line. But once you are going there is lots of power, in 3rd and 4th gear where you really need it.

I think I read in Car and Driver that the TSX had a top speed of 133 (drag limited).
Just out of curiosity would the rear spoiler and or the ground effects make a difference in top speed?

maybe 1 mph... dunno spoiler only decreases rear air turbulance and increases downward force on the rear... ground effects increase weight but probably increase the aerodynamics of the car.

Ground effects and spoilers do nothing aerodynamically on this type of car. It only makes the car bulkier, so it causes more drag, so less top speed.
Good ground effects, combined with a much lowered car, with a flat bottom, and a true racing spoiler will have effect on a car's ballance, but be careful, on an FWD, it could make it understeer even more.
Nothing the TSX has..

well if you're going 100+ a spoiler does affect the the steering of a car around a corner. you have more downward force on the rear creating less chance for fishtailing. Although the car is FWD and not RWD it does help a little... as for top speed didn't say it would help the top speed just said what a spoiler does. Are you talking about a wing when you say "true racing spoiler?"
I didn't think the TSX had ground effects. If you shave everything would be cleaner and more aerodynamic

The only FWD cars I know about who would fishtail before understeer would be an ITR, but then again, it is only at it's limits.
And who could or would pretend to take corners at 100+ on public streets and highways??? So why in the hell would you want to "enhance" youcar's day-to-day performance with something that has no use whatsoever?

I saw the top speed listed as 146 and from a post from the "old site" a guy got his up to 143 on a Cal. freeway. I think the guys at C&D used the wrong CD to calculate their top speed.
