WTH? Winshield chips exposed in sunlight
I just found that my car has small chips on the windshield.
It has about 360miles.
I never noticed it cus I've driven the car mostly after sunset.
Cus it's still in break in period, I wanted to drive it in cooler temperature.(pick day high was 90-108F these days)
So I drove it at 2 pm to pick up my old teg from shop.
All of sudden, I saw a lot of chips and scratches on the windshield!!! They disappear in parking lot where is little bit darker than outside.
What should I do? Do I have to go to dealer ask them to replace one? I think they will deny it.
Any comments guys?
I am very paranoid about my car.
I hope they will replace one.

They probably won't. If they are THAT big, take the car to a glass shop and they might be able to patch them. It should look good afterwards.
I drive so fast on traveling (90+ mph), I have quite a few chips on the windshield and front chrome logo. Those tiny bugs the car hits react like rocks at that speed. It's so sad... my Jetta didn't have this problem (paint-wise). But I did have the little holes on the windshield.
I wonder if I tailgate...

My TSX has 23,000km and lots of pits on the windshield and front chrome. I have 3M film on the hood and I suppose that's helping there. The small pits on the glass can probably be polished out. The chrome I'm not so sure about. It's not a big deal really, I can only see the glass pits when the light conditions are right (driving into the sun). The rest of the time you can't see them at all.
