Wierd noise

Hey there,
I've got a wierd noise that sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side wheel well area. It's more like a "brr-brr-brr-brr-brr" and it will get faster and slower and i speed up and slow down the car. The sound is most noticeable when i'm at slower speeds and when the steering wheel is slightly turned. I only notice this sometimes. Not all the time though. but lately it's been happening more and more.

Anyone have any idea what it is? I'd like to have some idea before i go into the dealership and they tell me "cannot reproduce problem" and send me back home. Do you guys think it's a bad bearing? or maybe someone just forgot to grease up the CV joints?

thanks in advance.

Dont think it's the tires as it was doing it with my original stock tires too. It seems like it only happens when it's cooler out.

A bearing sounds like a possibilty. I had one go at 55,000 miles and I've heard of a few others. Mine was the right rear.

Weird Noise

I had the same noise. I thought I heard it at high speeds, but it was more pronounced at lower speeds.

Upon investegation, the dealer found that the right front axle shaft bearing was gone...the car had around 21,000 KM at the time...this was 2 months ago.

They had one other customer who had the same problem, so I know I'm not the only one. Acura was back ordered, so they took one out of a Demo.

Noise is gone...I'm happy...Acura of Barrie rocks!!
