Why did it have to HAIL???

Sitting at my desk at work, looked out the window only to see the sky open up and dump larger than marble size hail on my car. Everyone was freaking out about the hail but one smart ass says it's not big enough to cause damage. Well, I looked at my 4 month old baby only to see it's covered in light dimples.

Could it be worse? Yes, but I'm not too confident the dents can be removed. The insurance company wants to do paintless dent removal. They said if it doesn't work they will do what needs to be done to make it "like new". I guess that's ok, I definitely would like to stay away from repainting panels.

And to think I could have parked in the damn parking garage!

Nah, hail sucks regardless of how big it is. I hope they get your car as good as new.

I've seen golf ball-sized hail, but this is humongous. You just pray you're not stuck outside when that thing comes down.

They're light enough that it is tough to show them in pictures. SORRY! Either way, had paintless dent removal and they're all gone. I'm impressed...can't tell they were ever there, car looks good as new.

It was $900 to fix dents on the hood, roof and trunk. My insurance company was set up at the body shop who outsources their paintless dent removal and the dent removal guy did the estimate. I'm sure they overestimate because it's easy money for them. The insurance co. was writing checks left and right. It didn't care, my deductible is $250 so it was well worth forking the money out. Some of the other cars I saw had damage much worse than mine so it could have been much worse.

Everytime I get in the car I scrutinize looking for dents. Still no sign of them.
