TSX Factory Acc Fog Lights - Need replacement Parts!

HELP!, after only 5 months, I have a rock hole thru my passenger fog light.

The dealer wants $150+ for the replacement lamp assembly.
HandA has the assembly for approx $100.

Has anyone seen a replacement lamp assembly for less cash?

Is there a way to put another type lamp assembly and still use the factory wiring and mounting?

Also, lots of threads about film coating being applied to the lamps from the clear-bra products. Is this inexpensive? Does the heat damage it?

Is foglights for CR-V and TSX identical?

Does anyone know if the foglight is the same unit for the CR-V?

H and A had the replacements for $95 for them.

Where can you find the TSX ones for less than $150? That's my dealers' price!

Same as the ones for the Accord and CR-V, which HandA do sell.

Honda lists the part for $139, so if you have to get it from a dealer, get it from a Honda dealer.

(Always used to do the same kind of thing with my Audi. Identical part in a "VW" box was always cheaper...)

So they WILL be an EXACT match-up, same mounting, etc, right?

I have held the part in my hands and appeared to be completely identical. The mounting kit (including the bumper insert) is different, but the light assembly appears to be identical.

Note, I have NOT actually installed one.

Yep, Got the replacement in from H and A, and the CRV/Accord unit, Honda part number 08V31-S5D-1M101, Light Assy, R Fog, looks, feels, and has all the same markings at the one from my passenger side. H and A need to update their site to reflect this, and they can made more sales.

I will install this in the next couple of days. - Thanks Again

That's 99.99% positive. I will be installing one in the next day or so and will post the final results. As I said below, it has ALL the exact marking as the factory one.

Please understand we are talking about the fog light itself, and not the installation kit. The install kit is NOT the same.

OK, I just finished my project, and the CRV assembly purchased from H and A accessories ( Honda part number 08V31-S5D-1M101, Light Assy, R Fog) worked perfectly.
