steering wheel jingle (dealership claims it's normal?)
I've searched and found all the threads on steering wheel rattles, but nothing seems to match what I'm hearing. I thought I had the airbag harness rattle problem at first, but it turns out that I don't. My steering wheels makes a very faint sound like a coin bouncing around in it whenever I turn the wheel slightly off center or return it to center. It's not the airbag harness cable because it doesn't make noise when I go over bumps, and I've taken off my airbag to double check The jingle sound is actually in the airbag itself (not the wheel) and I can reproduce it just by turning the airbag (detached from the wheel) slightly to the left or right. The stupid dealership swore it was my steering column and needlessly replaced that, then when they realized the sound was still there, they claimed that they compared my airbag's sound to two other 1st gen tsx's and that they all made that sound. I'm skeptical, do you 04-08 tsxers here a slight jingle sound when turning your wheel? It's very quiet, but always there. Like a coin moving around. Anyone had a similar experience?
I don't want to have to go to another dealership, so I'm debating whether to remove my airbag and take the acura "A" logo cover off of it to see whether it's the cable for the horn. I'm out of luck if it's actually inside the physical airbag because I don't want to mess with that business at all...too dangerous. I may just go to another dealership to triple check.

The airbag has some little pellets in a part of it. These pellets are mixed with a fluid that's in a little glass thing with what amounts to a firecracker with electronic igniter behind it. When the two mix, they rapidly react and make a gas that inflates the airbag.
Might the sound be these things rattling around? I definitely wouldn't mess around with it in any way shape or form though. Like you said, too dangerous.

I don't hear any such sound. I'd take a WAG that the dealership just doesn't want to replace it (co$t) if it's not a warranty issue. No, wait ... front driver airbag is a few hundred, right? Aaaaanyway, if you have some anomaly in the airbag, I wouldn't accept "oh, that's fine, it's supposed to." You won't find out otherwise unless you need it, and then it's too late!

Neither is bumping the thread with the same question, on the assumption that the same people who hadn't had an answer for you two weeks ago would suddenly have an answer today. You don't have to artificially bump a thread up to the top 20 just to get people to read it. The software already marks threads "new since last visit" for users.
I think the lack of "Me, too!" answers is clear indication that this isn't common (at least among regular participants in this board). Boards aren't popularity contests in which the "busiest" threads provide the best information. Just my after 20+ years in BBSs and online forums.
