Hi, I have a 06 TSX. In the last year or so, the airbag light has been on. I finally get to read the SRS DTC code today. After short no.9 and no.4 connectors, the light is on for 4 long beeps then 4 short beeps, then it repeats this way again and again.

So is this a 4-4 code? It seems that there is no 4-4 code for my 06 TSX. The manual (for 04 TSX) does have the following codes:

44-1
44-2
44-3
44-8
44-B

All of these imply "Faulty right side impact sensor". So is this my problem as well? So it is not covered in the seat belt lifetime warranty?

Flash codes don't reveal the subcode. Looks like you'll have to get help to resolve. Problem could be LH or RH side. It might be good to access and inspect the sensors for obvious damage, however access requires fairly extensive work; seat removal and trim removal. It would be nice to know which sensor or other system problem (sub code).

I doubt this is covered by warranty but never hurts to ask.
