Squeaky steering wheel!

Hello,

I have an 07 TSX with 28k miles. I noticed this morning after my car had been sitting outside in the 2 degree weather, that my steering wheel was making a squeaking sound when I would turn it right and left. I let the car warm-up for 10 minutes before I started driving, and it didn't stop squeaking for a good 30 minutes into my drive. What would be causing this? I've never noticed this before. Should I have this looked at, or is this common in really cold weather?

Thanks!

A lot of things squeak in our cars when the temp drops - windshield, steering wheel control buttons, driver and passenger windows, dashboard, trunk, sun visor, etc. Even by buddy's S500 squeaks inside when it's cold out. If the noise is terribly loud, you could try getting some silicone spray where the squeak is.

My 06 does the same thing - I have to get it to the dealer before the warrantee runs out. others have had the steering rack replaced.

I noticed the same a few weeks ago, but thought it was too minor to bring the dealer. But if you all are doing it, I might as well...
