Somewhat of a success story

PROBLEMS: (well some of them)
1. warped rotors
2. broken navi dvd reader
3. sliding driver seat
4. broken plastic side panel of driver seat

I went into the dealer today b/c I had some time off, so the first thing I asked about was the rotors that are warped-- the guy who was helping me was askin me questions; but all of a sudden some douche bag next to him who wasn't helping me butted in and asked how many miles I have --- 38,000 he says "no, no way" I told big dawg to slow down b/c he was being a cunt. So I told him that there were people who have gotten them fixed, but he said with my milage that it wouldn't be done under warranty. (I plan on getting some aftermarket slotted ones, so I didnt' care that much) I wasn't trying to hustle the fuckin people, i just asked. . . So that was the bad part (the napoleon complex guy who made himself part of my conversation)

The broken navi dvd reader-- he said they'd check it out, and that as long as no one had opened it and tried to fuck with it, it'd be covered under the warranty. -- That's good news, b/c the first time I took it there some bitchy slit was tellin me that they'd charge me $88 an hour just to diagnose it, and see if I had caused it or it was defective. So the guy said to bring it in after work tommorow and if it's broken they'll fix it (as long as I didn't open the unit, which I didn't)

The sliding seat issue will be checked out tommorow, and the part will be ordered as well. To the people who have this problem, and have tried to get it fixed--- was it fixed for good?? or did it break again??

The broken plastic driver side panel of the seat (w/ the controls on it) has been broken since day one-- I thought I had caused it tho-- b/c i'm a big dawg, but I saw on the board that other people had this problem so I also asked about it. The guy said that it's not my fault and that they'd also fix that.

So, it's a success story only b/c it sounds promising, but we'll see what they'll actually do about it tommorow when they take a look at it.

I hate going to the dealer and asking to get shit fixed, b/c in the past they've been such pricks, but having back-up from people on the board w/ similar problems, I can go in there and let them know that other people have the same problem and that it was taken care of. The guy who actually did help me seemed to have a lil attitude at first, but in the end he was cool beans.

*btw* the rotor problem-- they said that they'll only cover it on car w/ less than 12k miles on it. . . and I was told that it happens to all acuras.

Sorry you have been getting your chain pulled. You probably would get better service if you were a bit more courteous. Judging by your language and demeanor I probably would not want to go out of my way for you either.

Thugs and rude people suck.

I am hoping that is just the way he told his story, and not actually how it happend. I agree, if his verbage when speaking face to face is the same...not many people will go out of the way to help him!

I was expressing myself on here in a humorous manner. . .

i do have a resentment with them b/c of bad service in the past (being lied to, no call-backs, etc.)

but i still didn't go in there all cock-diesel trying to get things my way...
c'mon now...

title = success story-- not, I went in there and bitched everyone out
I got helped like never before!!-- i hated that some guy got out of his way (he was helpin someone else out)-- to say "no,no way" to me after i asked a question
