Seat Heater Rocker Switch Light "High"

setting goes out, I know there's a temperature cut-off, but sometimes when I click the 'High' from a cold start there's no light yet the seat still warms.

Dealer said it may be a loose bulb, I can probably check it myself, anyone ever remove this switch?

I have the same problem.. it's a loose / burnt out bulb.. there's a forum on here somewhere that tells you how to remove the switches (I believe it involves taking apart the center console to get to them).. i've been too lazy to do them.. the lights sometimes work and sometimes don't...but the seat always warms

maybe i'll get to it... eventually..

Not an expensive fix. The bulb is 10$ at the dealer. I had to change mine too. You can find a how to on youtube on how to remove switches. First, remove the center console, then you'll be able to disconnect the button.

Is it one bulb for the whole switch?
On my driver side the switch itself does not light with my headlights. You know the "outline" part.
On the passenger side the "hi" amber light does not light.

one light when you turn on your lights, and one bulb when you put it at high temp.

This is a very good DIY - https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tsx-2004-2008-124/diy-vsa-moonroof-heater-gear-shift-lights-679654/

There's 3 bulbs per switch. The bulbs can be obtained through Radioshack. They come in a pack of 2 for about $4.

So for my heated seats the switch itself did not light on the driver side, and the "hi" did not light on the passenger side.

I bought a pack of 2 switches at RS, and replaced both of them. I tested that the driver side lit and that the passenger side "hi" lit. I put everything back together....now the passenger side doesn't light...LMFAO

The part number for the bulb is 35853-SDA-A01 BULB (14V 60MA) there are 2 of them. 1 for the hi and low. There is also another bulb for the illumination thats a diffrent part number. I would replace them all. That center piece is a pain to get out. The part number for the illumination is 35852-SDA-A01 BULB (14V 40MA). I had taken mine apart to replace one and ended up breaking one of the clips by the cup holder side. A couple of day later another bulb burned out.
