Resetting TripA and TripB

I reset TripA after each fill-up, and use TripB for scheduled maintenance.

What I find odd with my car is that, after resetting TripA, TripB would also reset after awhile.

Immediately after fill-up, TripA is reset to "0.0", and TripB is left unchanged. After awhile, I check the trip meters again, and notice that TripB had been reset at some point in time during my travels. I know this b/c TripB, now, is less than TripA.

This has happened since purchase on May/2005.

Comments/questions?

that'd be my guess too. It rolls over after 3 digits?

they're both the same way.
Just get your maintenance done on-time and you can just refer to the owners' manual for when your next one should be.
