Replacing timing chain, can't get TDC to line up

I'm replacing the timing chain and can't get TDC on the crank pulley lined up the same time I have piston 1 TDC lined up on the cams. This seems bad to me and I'm afraid to continue...is something wrong? Thanks!

Do you have an OEM manual for guidance. You can get a download manual for $22 from automanualsource. This should provide detailed guidance you need to resolve your alignment.

good luck

I'm using the OEM manual. That's where I'm seeing that it seems that these should both line up at the same time.

Yes, both camshafts and crankshaft should align simultaneously. If not, something was done wrong; perhaps one of the camshaft marks is on the crankshaft, or wrong timing chain.

good luck
