My battery is dead and after searching it seems i want an optima 51R. Then i tried to find one and it seemed that they were possibly discontinued. Also is a D51R the same as a 51R?

Are they in fact discontinued? What is the current replacement to use? I have two alpine pdx amps, a 1k watt and a 400watt, which is why i am not just getting a kragen/sears battery.

 

You'd want a Yellow top and from what I hear, Optima hasn't quite fixed their issues with YT's. So no help from me. Might want to search Audio/Video section to see what those audiophiles are using.
