Rear Defroster and Radio Reception
Just got back from my dealership (Hall Acura in Newport News, VA
got a TL as a loaner) for some issues (rattle in dashboard on passenger side and the recall thing).
One of the issues is rather unique, as I have not seen a thread on here about it.....my radio reception cuts out whenever I put on my rear defroster. It is a definite and noticeable A-B thing (A. hit rear defroster B. reception goes out). My service advisor told me that they could not find anything wrong and called into Acura for guidance. Apparently I'm not the only one with the problem b/c Acura authorized me for a new rear windshield.
So, I wait for that to come in....
Anybody else with this issue?

Never heard of that one yet, but it doesn't seem too surprising that it could malfunction that way because of the way they are both laminated onto the window glass. Has it always been like that from the start, or did it develop over time?

I don't think I've ever used my defroster, so I think I'll check.
