'random' cd...

I have had the same question, but after a though read through the manual and careful search through this site I have to conclude that it is not a feature. Would be great if it were.
I'm still wondering how the 6 CDs are stored and moved around in the unit. Magic? <g>

No it wouldnt be great. Have you noticed how long it takes to change CD's, not to mention all the moving parts that could break? IMO they left this feature out for good reason.

How does the CD changer work?
In all seriousness, how does the CD changer work? Given the size of the unit there isn't space to rotate disks around. Some sort of reader moves over the stacked disks?
I know it is not magic -- that is saved for the navi system. :-)
