problem with front passenger door

My passenger side front door sounds really hollow when i shut it....
almost like they forgot to put the main panel in the door...the other 3 doors sound sturdy. i noticed the noise when i brought it home after purchasing it (same day).

i took it to the dealership and asked them about it...they attempted to tell me that the reason it sounded hollow was becuase someone tried to break into my car....btw there is no damage to the door and i am no fool when it comes to stealing/breaking into cars. they told me to call my insurance company and report a claim. i was too pissed off to go argue with them.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Thanks

sometimes the doors on my 06 sound hollow when closing them and other times they do not. not a big problem-i can live with it-. i love the car-bought new 11/17/06-it has 25,000+miles now.

My doors sound light and hollow. I found that they can close themselves if you nudge them and get the timing right. When you do this, it sounds okay. But the door shouldn't sound TOO different from the other side door. Try another dealer. In fact, avoid a dealer that tries to bluff you and blow you off. Complain to Acura corp when/if they call for feedback.
