New struts help?

I have an 04 tsx with 151,000 miles and still have original struts on there. Needless to say its time to replace. I have read posts where guys are putting on tokico HP struts, which are roughly $90/strut. My questions is, can I reuse the springs from my old struts and put them on the Tokico struts? Also is there a DIY out there for this?
Thanks!

Springs rarely fail or sag. You should be able to reuse.

Suggest purchasing a emanual from automanualsource on ebay, $21.99. Also check youtube for acura, honda strut replacment. They are all similar job.

Note, you will need to use a spring compressor and this can be dangerous. Be sure you understand how to use the compressor you rent/buy.

Have you checked the anti-sway bar (stablizer) links. These can cause a lot of noise and are an easy replacement job. Any looseness indicates new links are needed.

good luck
