New noise - click in center console
I have a new noise - it sounds like a mute click when I stop and a clear click as soon as I start moving. The dealer said they could not hear it - I have to take one of their techs out with me to demonstrate.
Anyone else have this noise?

If you mean clicking from the center console where the shifter is for auto tranny TSX's yes....
I have posted a few on this issue and it is basically plastic rubbing against plastic. My dealer changed my cover by the shifter...it creaked again and I inserted some rubber grommets (sp?) to eliminate it once and for all...

Yes - I should have been clearer it is for Automatic.
The click noise is not when I move the shifter - but it happens everytime I come to a stop and then again when I start moving. As if something is moving back and forth due to stopping and starting motion.

Yes, the dealers mechanic howed me the problem - it s small white plastic piece - a part of the shift movement mechanism that seems to have more than normal extra play. Trying to fix it would require major surgery of the whole shifter mechanism. Since it is not a safety issue and not wanting to take a chance the dealer mechanic messing something else up I left it alone.
If there s a TSB for it now I will ask the dealer to look at it again.
