I'm getting some shaking too when I accelerate, I hope it's not my axles.

Maybe it's my wheels being off balance.

One day i hit a gaurd rail that was lying in the road upside down at 65mph. it had popped my tire. the next day i bought two used tires to come back home from my parents place. I noticed the car shook when accelerating and cruising. the shakes got worse the higher the speeds. i took it to the dealer and told them what had happened. they told me that it might be a bent upper or lower control arm and that it would run me like $1300.00 since warranty didnt cover it since i hit it with the rail so i say ok i'll be back (bullshit). i called a different dealer and told them that my car gradually got this problem and that it became worse and that id like to have it checked out. the service manager was cool and set me up with a appointment but told me if tis was a prob due to balance they would charge me 98 dollars for looking at my car if not and prob was worse it would be covered hahhaa.

The day before my app i went to get new tires (hankook ventus k104 215 50 zr 17) they noticed on rim it was more off balance than the others without the weights. they ended up puting that wheel on the back right. when i drove out of there the ride was soooooo smooth it still pulls to the right but the shakes seem to be gone i put it on the freeway and stepped on it 100mph with no shakes but i noticed when i center the wheel and let go while at 40 i see the wheel move back and forth a eighth of a inch while moving towards the right and when it settles it does not shake unless i hit a bump. i cancelled my appt the same day and dont know if i should get this checked out still because im gonna upgrade my suspension and dont want any probs after voiding my warranty. can this prob be a bent rim or was it the used tires that couldve been out of round. maybe my allianment is causing the wheel to shake slightly. sorry for the neverending story but i had to let y'all know what happened.
