Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me plz if the Iphone works with TSX's Bluetooth ?? Also, what do I need to do in order for me to play Mp3 from the Iphone in my Stero system and ultimately, Displaying the songs on the GPS Screen ??

iPhone works over Bluetooth in my '06 TSX -- shows battery meter and signal strength. For music, I connect with a Belkin dock cable (same one I've used with all my dock-port iPods) which plugs into the car's power port (for charging) and includes an audio jack providing line-out audio through a cable to the TSX's aux input in the console. You don't want to connect via the iPhone's (or any device's) headphone jack -- that's not line-out audio.

As for displaying info on the nav screen, that's beyond my knowledge.

umm to show them on the nav screen you'll need like a DICE or something for it. I am not sure iPhone will do it, but iPods will display with the DICE link

I researched this because I am planning to purchase an iPhone at the end of the month. Apparently the iPhone meets the iPod dock specs, which means if the manufacturer of the dock followed the specs correctly then the iPhone will work out of the box. They put extra emphasis on the word correctly, so I'm guessing that maybe they began using some of the unused pins on the connector or something and they have found that some manufacturers have been cheating or shortcutting and it works with all existing iPods, but not with iPhone.

I would be interested to hear if the Acura dealer installed iPod link works with iPhone. All the iPhone threads I found on search didn't try this, only tried bluetooth (which works great.)

Works fine with bluetooth. Displays the signal strength and battery life.

mine has worked fine with bluetooth since the day i got it... the day it came out.
there is some GSM band static when i get calls and my stereo is on but only if the iphone is in the cup holder or very close to the stereo.

as for the ipod/iphone hookup. It should work the same way an ipod does (this is what apple told me) although i have yet to pony up the +$200 for this mod... still using my nano the in the arm rest line in jack for now.

man i have yet to enable my iphone to my bluetooth good to know that it works though

i have to re setup my iphone in my 06 tsx every time i turn on the car. i hate it.
