Interior Light by the Homelink Burnt Out

Yeah, I am not quite sure what the exact name is for these lights(the ones you push on), but one of the two lights by the homelink buttons went dead. Does anyone know what bulb I need so I can replace it? And how exactly do I go about changing it? Thanks...

Ah man. It's not something I can do myself? My dealer is like 150 miles away from me and it would be a pain in the ass to make that trip for a damn lightbulb.

One of mine failed when the car had only 7000km on it. The dealer changed it while I waited, at no charge. But my dealer is only 7km/4miles away.

It is called a map light and yes you can change it.

Uses a bulb called a Festoon. Just need a flathead screwdriver wrapped with tape and you pry it out gently

Yea, there might even be instructions on how to change that in the owners manual. Honda's owners manual are pretty detailed compared to some of the ones that i've seen. If the nearest dealer is 150 miles away. you could always pop it open, see which bulb it takes. Then take it to an autoparts store. Hopefully they might have one in stock or something. Or at least order one. What you could do to troubleshoot if the car is really new is swap the two bulbs and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, then it's not the bulb. If it does then just get a new bulb to put in there. Let us know how it goes.
