Has My 2006 Acura TSX Been in a Collision?

I picked up a 2006 Acura TSX in April and recently, I noticed that the panels on the door are all blue on the car except on the driver's side, which is silver. It's a bit odd and the first thing that comes to mind is the cause has been in a collision before -- the carfax had no Information on this (I went along with the carfax, which said the car had not been in any accidents...)

Picture 1:
Picture 2:

I'm not sure why It would be like this, unless this is done by Acura...

looks like the previous owner did that.
they come SILVER from the factory.
and all it looks like he did was color them. lol

try wiping the blue off.

Check your bumpers, they should have matching VINs.
if not, your car has been in an accident

In the 2nd pic it looks like it's already started peeling in the upper left. It was like this on my '09 as well. Some dealers peel it for you, some don't.

^yes, although rather expensive.
I presume that those are not the originals.

as keeping the laminate on for 6 years would be a major feat!

well the car doesn't have many miles, so I wouldn't be surprised. It's very clean and the only damage is from when I backed into a van two weeks ago... cost me $1400 to repaint the back bumper... something tells me that I overpaid

You'd be suprised. I still have the blue laminate on mine. Sure it's starting to peel in some places but I figured when I picked up the car they looked fine so I just left them on there

I don't believe replacement ones would have the laminate, as that is usually only on there when the car is shipped from the factory.

Our 08 TSX still has the blue tint on perfectly intact.

Nope, I know they are supposed to be taken off but there's no harm leaving it on either!
