any tips on how to remove gum from the floor mats?

I had this on my accord. I poured boiling water on the soiled area, and then picked the gum out. The hot water will loosen it up, and you should be able to get most of it out.

i had the same similar problem my 1st month............. 1 of my jackass friends hopped into the car with gum on his shoes. I think the HOT water trick would have worked better for me.......... i used ICE??? Y i dont know i heard someone say to use ICE on it....... eventually i got it out but i was missing a tiny piece of carpet that u cant really notice at all.

I just got gum out of my wife's Pilot. I sprayed WD-40 on a paper towel and dabbed at the gum. Came right up.

try using "goo gone." they sell it at home depot. that stuff works miracles.
