was there ever an official recall on poor FM radio reception? mine is just HORRIBLE sometimes and want to get it fixed...i searched the site and other people report this issue as well.

i searched online, but could find no official recall. can anyone direct me to a link?

I haven't had a problem with FM reception.
Now XM reception on the other hand sucks. I could drive by some trees that dont have a canopy and the XM will go "SSSSSSSSSS". Then it'll come back for a split second and again go "SSSSSSSS".

I don't think there is an offical recall for poor FM reception, where did you hear that?

You might want to search the Audio & Video forum in the OFF TOPIC section of Acurazine for possible upgrades to the element antenna. I don't recall anyone doing any mods to improve reception though.

Mine gets horrible FM and some areas i lose XM

i get the ssssssssssssssss listed above but with FM i get static
