Honda rep called me back today. The trunk will be fixed but he offered me a free accessory. He said something in the range of the cost of a Wing Spoiler ($400 - $500)

Suggestions?

As part of it i'm thinking of having them fix the rest of the scratches and dents and then maybe a clear bra or something? or maybe just a new hood because thats so hard to touchup paint.

As Superintendent Chalmers would say, "It has to have the 'H'...that's how you tell it's a Honda!"
Turns out my girlfriends H just got stolen. And it left a big ugly square where it had been stuck to the paint whats the solution? buy a new one from the dealer?

Just gave my PWP TSX a good cleaning and coat of NXT and discovered tiny little rust spots on the bumper. They are directly under the lip of the trunk, in line with the emblem. They are very small right now, about the size of an "o" in 6 pt. font, but I don't recall seeing them the last time I washed and waxed. Gonna keep an eye on these and bring them to Acura's attention at my next service.

I must have posted in the wrong thread, although post #41 did address rust. I will try taking a pic but, in all honesty, the spots are pretty small and I'm not sure I can get that close for the pic to show them.

silly question, but have you tried clay barring it? Any time I've had little rust spots on my PWP its always just crap that got embedded in the paint, but comes out easily w/ a claying.

Ok, here is a pic of the spots. They are rather tiny but there is a bunch of them, about a dozen or so. They are kinda crusty, I can take some of it off if I rub it with the edge of the penny but it doesn't remove it completely. I don't want to continue for fear of scratching the finish. Any idea if this is rust or something else?

try a clay bar, I've gotten spots like that out of my hood, it could just be crap that gets embedded
