code 171 hard to starteasier whencrccling themkey 3 times no power.
I turn key on 5 sec. off 5 sec. three times is easier to start. car has no power. have to lightly step on gas or it bogs down and won't go. turn the steering wheel and car bogs.either way turning. ck engine light comes on whth code 171 lean bank 1. Honda Civic 2001

P0171 means lean fuel mixture detected and limit of fuel adjustment (+ LTFT) was reached. Problem can be air intake leak, dirty fuel injector/s, weak fuel pump, etc. Diagnostics are necessary to isolate problem. A scanner and other tools req'd. Sometimes a air intake leak can be located w/ spray of water or brake cleaner to locate leak by listening for engine rpm change while spraying suspects; intake manifold, vacuum lines, etc.
