clutch slip after master clutch cylinder & slave replacement?
I just DIY replaced the master and slave clutch cylinders on tsx 2006 (at 140km mostly to get rid of the annoying clicking and squeak on the clutch pedal). OEM parts.
After the work, I'm noticing now on the road that the engine seems to be revving higher starting at ~3000rpm and it doesn't have as much pepp off the block as it used to.
I'm wondering if there is anything else worth checking before taking it in to the dealer to get the clutch looked at?
I was thinking maybe the slave wasn't compacting enough with the pedal out which would cause the clutch to be partially engaged all the time. I've attached 2 pics, one with the clutch in and one with the clutch out. Does this movement look normal?
I also checked the pedal. It needed a bit of adjustment but hasn't made a difference in performance.
The clutch was replaced earlier around 60k already, so I'm hoping I don't need to do it again, but maybe it's time.
Anything else I should check before taking it to the dealer for clutch replacement?
Thanks!

A slipping clutch is un-mistakeable. When you "lug" engine at slower speed in high gear (20 mph) and apply throttle load, the clutch will slip if weak/worn.
Other problems such as reduced acceleration are engine drivability issues.
good luck

There is an adjustment on the bracket that attaches the master cylinder to the pedal. Did you set this to be approx the same point after the replacement?
If this is set higher than it was before it might keeping the clutch from completely disengaging the throwout bearing.
When you are releasing the clutch does it feel like it is catching further from the floor that before the repair?
