Picked up the car this morning and no light on the way to work. They drove it on the weekend and the light didn't come on. They are sure they have it solved and I think they do too, but I'm doing some finger crossing. After driving the TL I really missed my TSX and am glad to be back at the wheel of a manual.

This may be stating the obvious, but put quality premium petrol in the car. I feel certain they had a quality issue on the O2 sensor. Wonder if the mechanic busted the second one installing it.

sooo. if im getting a test pipe anyways.. along with a defouler.. will i really need to get my 02 sensor replaced? or will the defouler take care of that?

my car seems to run fine. however i do notice that the fuel economy jumps down very quick.
i was driving kinda fast around last night... then my vsa and check emissions lights came on... when i turned off my car and waited a min turned it back on. vsa was back to normal. but it was really odd.. and after having etd. it was really odd to have my car give me a jerk in like fifth gear...

i let it sat for a while. it seems to run fine.. just a lil rough now.. at idle.
what do you guys think?

Engine malf. light just popped on tonight for me as well. Not the gas cap as I'm anal about that. I was just sitting in the car reading the manual (page 319) when sitting idle, the rpms jump, the interior lights were on and dimmed each time the rpms dropped.

Sound like an o2 sensor?
