Bluetooth doesn't recognize numbers

I'm sure I've seen similar problem but cannot find thread.
I was able to pair phone with HFL but I can't make calls - damn thing doesn't understand any number that I'm telling...I say 425 - it understand as pause five or 004, not even close. OK, my pronunciation much worse than perfect (although numbers I speak clearly) but my wife with very light accent and she had the same problem. I asked my daughter (she has native English) - same thing.. I asked neighbor (native English) - this f... thing cannot understand any number. More funny that it has some kind of cache in the memory, and looks like it remember previous attempts. Did anybody have this problem?
Thanks

I have had serious thoughts about finding that voice-lady and giving her a piece of my mind. Depending on the amount of noise in the car and the bluetooth signal, she can be very stupid or very smart.

sounds like a malfunctioning HFL ( hands free link ) unit

somewhat common on the TL / tsx take it to the dealer have them replace the HFL unit
