alignment
i recently went to get my '04 tsx re-aligned. the technician told me to replace the camber and probably something else with aftermarket parts in the back two wheels b/c the stock part is not adjustable in the back, unlike the front wheels, so he didn't adjust the alignment in the back. am i being duped? do other people have this problem? why would acura make the back un-adjustable? makes no sense to me.

is your car lowered?? if it's lowered, than you need a camber kit or just have them adjust the toe.
usually on a stock car, they only adjust the toe.
eh, JTso beat me to it.

I'm confused about the specifications for the repair. I just had my alignment checked and my rear right camber was -1.7 degrees. At the shop they told me it should have been between -.5 and -1.5 degrees. According to the bulletin does this mean I get new rear suspension stuff?

car is not lowered. they just adjusted the toe for the front but not the back b/c of the "non-adjustable" parts in the back. does that sound about right? that only the front is adjustable on a tsx? will i ever need to do the back?

I know this might be slightly of the topic, but I also have a question. I lowered my car about 2.25 front and 1.6 rear and have since then installed rear camber kit (Ingalls) last night. Now my question is, when I go take it to the shop to get an alignment should I tell the mechanic to set the toe to ZERO (0) or what would be proper in my case, would they know to adjust the rear camber within factory specs?
Thanks.

my mistake. they adjusted the front (cam and toe) and back (toe only b/c "the manufacturer does not specify a rear camber adjustment"). i forgot the alignment on the front but for the back cam it's -1.8 on both sides.

thank you everyone for responding. went to dealer and got a new rt. rear arm replaced and got everything realigned. don't know why the sears mechanics couldn't realigned the back. whatever the dealers did, the alignment is now in place + the new arm. and jlkja is right. under warranty so got everything for free. thanks again everyone!
