RIPOFF! Most of it is just checking things. I'd my own oil change, tire rotation and changed the pollen filter for under $50.00.

yeah they just check alignment, change the oil, rotate the tires, and lube up some of the suspension components, and change the pollen filter, you can do it all yourself for much less and the alignment shouldn't cost more than 50 - 80 dollars.

...heres the kicker, I get free oil changes for life, so that doesn't even count towards the price. They say they do something for the brakes, change the wipers, filters, and fuel system check. I told them it sounded high, and they said "but we CHANGE the fluids." I was like, ok great just give me my free oil change and i'll be good.....

Damn! And I thought my 30k service was pricey at $300. Go somewhere else!

My dealer charges $5xx for the same service. Besides the tranny fluid drain and fill (they charge $80) and the brake flush ($150), I'm not sure that all the other 'visual inspection' stuff plus oil and coolant change cost $300

I got my tranny fluid changed for the price of 3 quarts of Honda ATF-Z1 and maybe 30-60 minutes of time. Still need to do the brake flush with a friend...

I guess for $600, you get a peace of mind..... well, maybe

Hmm, this sucks, looks like I got screwed here. I paid $585 or so for my 30k at Greenwich Acura a couple of weeks ago.

lodi, are you from Norwalk? That's where I live currently... we should have the smallest TSX meet ever, lol.

Live, and learn, I guess. I'll be looking elsewhere for the 60k...

im at 77k miles and all ive done myself is oil changes, couple tranny fluid changes, brakes jobs, alignment (after i got my a-spec) and cabin filter changes. screw their 30-60-90k services, all they do is check for leaks and charge you 900 bucks.

car runs like new still btw. aside from all the warranty crap ( 2 stereo changes, squeeky brakes, moisture in h/l, trunk recall )

Damn, that's so expensive. I have 3k miles on my car right now. Perhaps I should have just gotten the Accord Anyway's, if I do a 30k service elsewhere (not at an Acura dealership) will this void my 4/50K mile warranty?

^^ Where you do the service will not void it as long as you can prove that it was done and that it was done at least at the recommended mileage.
