After they make their money, those jerks could care less. When I was getting service at the dealer one week after I got my new car...I saw the salesman and he looked away and acted like he didn't see me.

Nice looking car. I dont like Honda/Acura sometimes but their cars are very solidly built for the most part. You probably just got a bad car from the start, it happens.

First of all, sorry to hear about your problems.

I had a similar problem with my 2006 GTI. I bought the DSG auto transmission and it had lots of problems with the transmission. The first sign of problems was two weeks after I bought the car. It ended up being in the shop four times in three months. In the end I went through the Lemon Law system and got back my money, exept for $1000 for the time I used it. I then went and bought my second TSX. It was a long proccess but it was worth it in the end.
GOOD LUCK

I don't blame him. If the same thing happened to my car and the dealer and Acura showed incompetence in keeping me happy by repairing the problem properly and making the car safe, I would go to a different brand even if I like Acura/Honda over BMW and Audi because of reliability. His experience showed him that Acuras can also have problems and while it is unfortunate, the most important is not owning a car on the 10-best list, but owning a car that makes you happy to drive it.

Well I understand that Acura is Car And Driver ranked top 10, but you know when you get that BAD EXPERIENCE, you would prefer not to drive it again or else u will always be remind of the car failer. Im not saying Honda / Acura are bad cars, because we Have a ship load of honda at our house Odyssey, CR-V, Accord. im the only non-honda.

the new a4's are great looking cars, ive got 2 friends with audi's(02 a4 & 06 a6) and i love both of them. the 02 a4 has never had any major problems with a 1.7L turbo or awd and the 06, only had it for a couple months, has not had any problems with the 4.3L or awd as well, but service can get expensive, just show her the right kind of love

Seems like this guy regrets the purchase of his car and is looking for an excuse to get out of it. The CAR is not defective. You need at the very most, all new clutch components. If honda replaces those, the car will be brand spanking new and will function as intended. Since you want out so badly, i hope he does get his money back, but the car is fine....just needs a little bit of warranty work to address the clutch issue

I like to say more about this then, I bought the TSX with all good attention and wanted it soo bad since it came out in 2004. but my car at the time (Toyota Rav4) was still running strong so no reason to switch.

You say its easy to "get ALL new clutch components" but the dealer replaced the Clutch master cylinder 3x and some other things. It started out as like 3x loud clickign noises when u depress the clutch pedal and still drives BUT give it a few more days the pedal goes to the bottom of the floor. Which i will repeat "LEAD ME INTO A CAR ACCIDENT" with all these issues is bad enough, the last time I went into the SUNNYVALE ACURA dealer they REFUSE to do anymore warranty service on my TSX. WTF??????? REFUSE??????? So my lawyer and I went full throttle at HONDA of AMERICA.

Honestly this is not my excuse to get out the car, its only that I don't feel safe driving this car knowing that I had soo many times I had to tow it in to the dealer for serivce work. its not like its once a year but one time it was EVERY OTHER DAY
and 1 week later. I work, I travel alot with my car, having a car thats not dependable is the LAST THING I NEED IN MY LIFE.

Conclusion :
I won, I got alll my money back and now Im happy with my Audi.

PS: I miss iVTEC because ... man that thing is loud with a Cold Air Intake. Even louder then my buddies Honda Civic with Greddy full cat back exhaust.

I have the the clutch creak problem, Brake shaking, A/B piller squeaks, Acura has had 5 times to fix my car. To top is off the last time it was in it came back with added problems. So I hired a lemon law lawyer. He filed suit, waiting for some answer from Honda.
