#@%*ing glovebox!

Today I open my glovebox and I swear I thought it was going to fall out of the dash. The thing just swings completely open and upside down dumping the contents (owners manual and leather case) all over the floor. It wasnt overloaded at all.

Looking at the back I see a plastic bracket that broke clean off. There is also a hole on the left side towards the center console, not sure if a screw or bolt belongs there. I dont think it was ever taken out of the car. So this is covered under warranty right?

What a #@%* pain in the rear! Take the car in for a broken glove box and leave it there all day since I cant wait on the car, and if they have to order a part? I just hope this is covered and they dont try to blame aftermarket audio installer may have broken it first.

Yeah there is a plastic stopper that goes on that side. It slides into that hole. Look on the right side of the glove box. You should see an oval shaped plastic piece. I had to remove these when I ran the wire for my GPS antenna.
